Chase The express -one of the best ps1 action/adventure video games-

Chase The Express (Ps1 ROM)

the video Game Story :
In this video game the player controls Lieutenant Jack Morton of NATO, the sole survivor of a terrorist strike on the Blue Harvest, an armored train. He is aided by Christina Wayborn throughout the game, the French ambassador's bodyguard and the NATO council. Traveling around the various carriages of the train, the player must defeat the terrorists, find the French ambassador, and prevent the terrorists from using a nuclear weapon.

The terrorists , under the leadership of Boris Zugoski, detonate some C4 charges in parts of the train, kill all those who resist and take the French ambassador's family hostage. At a certain point in the video game Boris is killed by Jack and it appears that the ambassador's assistant, Phillip Mason, is actually a double agent sent to steal a data disk from the Blue Harvest.

The ending of the video game depends upon what data disk the player gave Mason.

Good endings consist of Mason attempting to escape in the helicopter but being stopped by Jack who stops the nuclear bombs on board. The Ambassador is saved as is Billy.

Bad endings of this video game consist of Mason escaping and remaining at large. Jack then stops the nuclear bombs however the Ambassador dies as does Billy.

New controller for the Wii alongside with Monster Hunter Tri

Traditionally, Nintendo launches new peripherals alongside its own software. Mario Kart Wii came bundled with a plastic wheel…But for the new Classic Controller Pro, Nintendo has turned to Capcom.

The new controller, which features a few tweaks to the original Classic Controller, will be bundled with copies of the newly released Monster Hunter Tri. In addition to supporting the controller, as well as a number other control schemes—including the original Classic Controller and the WiiMote and Nunchuk combo—the game will also make use of Wii Speak, so players can communicate via voice chat while playing online.

The Monster Hunter series has garnered an immense following in Japan, with a series of top-selling PSP releases. And the Wii release has already become the top-selling third-party Wii game in that territory as well, moving nearly 600,000 units in its first week alone.

It's common knowledge that, with few exceptions, the best selling games on the Wii are all published by Nintendo. The same goes for the majority of the titles that are able to garner much of an online audience. But with some strong backing from Nintendo, and a currently exclusive new controller, Monster Hunter Tri, which launches today, may be able to buck that trend.

ePSXe emulator: download & tutorial configuration

ePSXe is an emulator of the Sony Playstation video game console for PC. ePSXe makes use of a plugin system to emulate GPU, SPU, and CD drive functions, similar to the model first introduced in PSEmu Pro.

System requirements:

  • Processor: Pentium 200 MHz, recommended 1 GHz

  • RAM: 256 MB RAM, recommended 512 MB RAM

  • Graphics card: 3D graphics card needed with support for OpenGL or DirectX

  • Operating system: Windows: 9x (95, or 98/98SE), NT (XP, 2000, Vista, etc) -- GNU/Linux (any distro will do)

  • CD-ROM: 16x or faster (optional)

It is important to note that the resources required depend largely on which video game you want to play, & computer requirements,

for example: "small" PCs will run Battle Arena Toshinden correctly, but the results will not be the same with Final Fantasy 9.

In any case, more the computer its powerful more its better (in condition of course to have the best ePSXe configuration). For those who have a modest PC, do not worry, you can play your ps video games properly by following this tutorial, because the whole secret of this emulator is the choice among the many good plugins available that are suitable for your hardware.

Emulator & ROMs (emulation)

If you didn’t finish a game in PS 1 or in another console or if you are nostalgic for the old games & consoles (Atari, super Nintendo…) there is another opportunity for you to play this games on your computer, by using ROMs & Emulators.

  • Video Game Emulator

A video game console emulator is a program that allows a computer or modern console (cross-console emulation) to emulate a different video game console's behavior.
Emulators are most often used to play older video games on personal computers and modern video game consoles, but they are also used to play games translated into other languages or modify (or hack) existing video games. Emulators are also a useful tool in the development process of homebrewed demos and new video games for older systems.

  • ROM images (ROMs)
A ROM image, or simply ROMs, is a computer file which contains a copy of the data from a read-only memory chip, often from a video game cartridge, a computer's firmware, or from an arcade video game's main board. The term is frequently used in the context of emulation, whereby older video games or computer firmware are copied to ROM files on modern computers and can, using Emulator, be run on the newer computer. ROM images are also used when developing for embedded computers. Software which is being developed for embedded computers is often written to ROM files for testing on a standard computer before it is written to a ROM chip for use in the embedded system.
